After the earthquake disaster that occurred in the Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş and affected our 10 provinces, TOGU Human Resources is located in the disaster zone with food and clothing assistance. Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih YILMAZ stated that relief activities were started in full coordination with authorities from the first moment of the earthquake and stated that TOGU Firefighting team was also sent to the region
The fire brigade team established by Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University Niksar Vocational School consists of Civil Defense and Firefighting program students. The team, which had a total of 40 people, was assigned to Kahramanmaraş. Rector YILMAZ stated that the TOGU Firefighting team, consisting of our Civil Defense and Firefighting program students, decamped to the International Search and Rescue Teams Campus in Kahramanmaraş and seperated into two groups and carried out their activities there. YILMAZ noted that the first group of the team, which operates in two groups, together with the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Brigade, carried out search and rescue activities in the debris in the Kahramanmaraş provincial center, and the second group carried out tent installation in the campus, food distribution and humanitarian aid.
