Transfer and Special Student Registration Procedures of Students Studying in Higher Education Institutions in Ukraine due to the Ukraine-Russia War

Due to the Ukraine-Russia war, the operations and procedures regarding the lateral transfer to higher education institutions in our country and the continuation of their education as special students for the 2021-2022 Fall semester and previous entry Turkish citizens and foreign students who receive formal education in higher education institutions in Ukraine due to the Ukraine-Russia war. It will be held according to the conditions determined at the meeting dated 2022.

In order to be able to transfer to higher education institutions in our country, students who are in the preparatory classes, intermediate classes and last year of the higher education institution abroad are recognized by the Higher Education Council and are registered in a diploma program, within the framework of the conditions in the ÖSYS / YKS Guide.

Application, evaluation and registration dates

Registration dates

11-15 April 2022

Applications are accepted from those who want to transfer or become a special student.

Results Announcement

20 April 2022

Substitute Announcement Date

Special Student Application

26-29 April 2022

Special student applications of students whose lateral transfer is not accepted at the end of the evaluation are accepted.

  • Those who do not apply on the announced dates or do not use their registration rights are deemed to have waived their rights.
  • Students who will come to our university as lateral transfer or special students will start their education in the 2022-2023 Fall semester.

Transfer and Special Student applications will be made personally to the Registrar's Office on the dates specified.

 

Required documents for transfer application:

  1. Student certificate
  2. Transcript / Grade Status Chart
  3. Document showing the type, date and score of placement in the program he/she is registered to
  4. If she/he took the ÖSYS / YKS exam in the year she was registered, the exam result document
  5. Course contents taken by the student in the program he/she is registered
  6. Copy of Identity Card and Passport
  7. High School Diploma (for checking where she/he is completed secondary education)

 

Note: In order to be able to evaluate, the application must be made with the originals of the documents and the documents other than Turkish must be translated into notarized in Turkish. Transfer applications of students with missing documents will not be accepted.

Responsibility for false/misstatements during the application lies entirely with the student. In grade conversions, conversion tables determined by the Higher Education Executive Board are used.

Contribution / Tuition Fee

-Students who will transfer to our university; They will be subject to the provisions of the Presidential Decision Regarding the Determination of Tuition Fees and Contributions to be Taken as Student Contribution to Current Service Costs in Higher Education Institutions.

- Students who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey, who want to study at our university as private students, who have completed their entire secondary education in the country, will pay the tuition and tuition fee of the relevant program.

- Foreign nationals who want to study at our university as private students / students who have completed all of their secondary education abroad will be subject to the tuition fees determined by the University's Administrative Board.
