        “Disaster Awareness and Volunteering” interview was held by TOGU AFAMER (Disaster and Emergency Application and Research Center) within the scope of our university's 30th anniversary events. Abdulkadir Tezcan, Head of Planning and Risk Mitigation Department of AFAD, and Okan Tosun, Head of Search and Rescue, attended the interview held on 15 July at the National Will Hall of the Congress and Culture Center.

         In the interview moderated by TOGU AFAMER Director Dr. Mehtap Aras; Abdulkadir Tezcan gave explanatory information about what needs to be done to reduce the risk of disaster, precautions and experiences. Okan Tosun shared detailed information on search and rescue and volunteering activities with the audience. Tezcan and Tosun, who answered questions from the audience, gave Disaster kits to 20 students with a lottery. The conversation ended with the presentation of gifts to AFAD Planning and Risk Reduction Department Head Abdulkadir Tezcan and Anda Search and Rescue Head Okan Tosun.
